Food Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for food production operatives to work on a bakery production line.

Hours of work:

The shifts are 8 hours per day with various start times, any day of the week. You must be available to work until the shift ends. You must also be available to work weekends when required.

Your role:

Whilst working at the factory your job title is Production Operative. There are various departments you may be asked to work in. Your role can vary, however your main duties will include;

- Cleaning

- Inspection work on the line

- Packing into containers

- Maintaining general hygiene within the factory

Food Operative Guidelines;

- To ensure that any area of the factory where you work is kept clean at all times

- To wear appropriate safety wear at all times depending on the area you are assigned to

- To ensure that you carry out all duties in line with your supervisor’s instructions

- To be responsible for ensuring you work to all health and safety guidelines whilst onsite

- To report any incidents/accidents to a supervisor even if you feel they are not important

- To clock in and out daily

- To notify your supervisor should you need to leave site earlier than your designated finish time

- To notify your supervisor immediately should you feel unwell at anytime during your shift

There are other duties that you may be involved in and will be trained on these beforehand.
